Micronutrient Action Policy Support (MAPS) Tool
MAPS is a web-hosted tool, communicating estimates of dietary micronutrient (MN) supplies and deficiency risks at national and sub-national scales in Africa.
We have co-created this web-hosted tool to estimate micronutrient deficiencies and explore pathways to improve nutrition. Features available include QuickMAPS and cost-effectiveness modelling of interventions.

Quick MAPS
The Quick MAPS tool allow users to easily investigate the risks of micronutrient deficiencies in their chosen geographic region by utilising default settings. It enables them to explore future projections up to the year 2050.
Cost & Effectiveness
The cost & effectiveness module allows users to select a specific micronutrient, nation and populatuion for interventions and offers the choice between existing or hypothetical interventions. Users can review and modify the intervention details, view the predicted cost, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness. The results can be exported and shared to facilitate further analysis and decision-making on nutritional intervention strategies.
